Network infrastructure

Organized, certified structured cabling designed for growth

Structured cabling organizes data, voice, Wi-Fi, camera and IP device connections through documented topology, compatible components and performance testing.

What problem does it solve?

Improvised splices, unidentified cables and overcrowded racks increase failures and troubleshooting time. Cable category only matters when installation, connectors and certification preserve link performance.

Coverage in Argentina: TECA designs and integrates projects for businesses, industries, institutions and distributed operations in Buenos Aires and other regions of Argentina.

Rack with organized copper structured cabling

Expected outcomes

Organization and maintenance

Racks, patch panels and labels that simplify changes and troubleshooting.

Verified performance

Testing and certification for the required category and application.

Multipurpose foundation

One infrastructure for data, voice, cameras, Wi-Fi and access control.

What we assess before implementation

  • Number and location of workstations and devices
  • Category, PoE, distances and cable pathways
  • Racks, power, grounding and climate control
  • Labeling, drawings, testing and spare capacity for growth

Important limitation: Certification must match the standard, category and link configuration. A simple continuity tester does not demonstrate network performance.

How we work

  1. Assessment of risks, operations and existing infrastructure.
  2. Design of architecture, coverage, communications and integration.
  3. Installation, configuration and testing using representative scenarios.
  4. Documentation, training and maintenance criteria.

Frequently asked questions

Which cable category should I choose?

It depends on speed, PoE, interference, distance and expected service life; the highest category is not always the most efficient option.

Can the cabling support cameras and Wi-Fi?

Yes, provided PoE, switch capacity, distance and equipment placement are correctly calculated.

What does the documentation include?

It may include port identification, drawings, test results and rack-to-outlet mapping.

Can an existing installation be reorganized?

Yes. It can be assessed, identified and standardized in stages to reduce operational risks.
